JCT is linked with the local community by a number of community-based initiatives. The main aims and objectives of JCT for these projects are as under :

• To encourage people to be involved with the game of football.
• To encourage more people to watch football.
• To encourage more people to take an interest in and support their favourite local Football Team
• To establish a closer link between the team and surrounding communities.
• To enhance the profile of the game.
• To create a positive & friendly atmosphere during competitive football matches of the team.
• To enhance the team’s image within local community.

In order to fulfill its objectives JCT has been taking following community based initiatives:

JCT has been continuously distributing 1200 Nivia branded footballs per annum in all districts of Punjab in order to promote the game of football in rural as well as urban areas.

JCT has been continuously granting a sum of Rs.15000/- each to the organizers of Punjab State Sub-junior, Junior and Senior Football Championships.

JCT contributes for the Medical Aid Fund being raised by Punjab Football Association to provide assistance to poor/needy football players who gets injured in Punjab State Championships/ Leagues/Punjab Tournaments etc.

JCT coaches impart necessary coaching / training to the local youth clubs/colleges teams during their summer vacation/spare timings.

JCT grants subsidy for local tournaments in Punjab.
